4/28/08 - Some updated pictures of the 122S just before it left to join its new owner. What a beautiful car!
This is an incredible example of Volvo's utility vehicle. It is in remarkable condition inside and out. It is a local one owner vehicle that never saw bad weather. It's 1800C.C. 4 cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission made it a "fun-to-drive, sporty" station wagon. The body, interior & chrome are flawless. It's rare to see a well preserved stationwagon as they were used as trucks. A nicer one you won't find! A show winner!
The Amazon was named after a race of female Warriors who lived in Scythia, close to the Black Sea. So fierce was their reputation that they were sometimes reputed to have cut off one breast because it interfered with the use of there bows.
