One of a Kind Masterpiece. Svenska Aeroplan AB (SAAB) never produced a convertible until 1986. This vehicle was modified and reinforced by Swedish Motors when our body shop was managed by Ken "Kainer" Pieffer. Hundreds of hours of consultation and reinforcement preceded the "roof removal"process to ensure a rigid cabriolet. It is powered by a modified 1.7L V4 coupled with 4 speed "on-the-column" fully synchronized gearbox. The project culminated in 1992 with an award winning show piece where ever it goes!
